The death of Christian Religiosity

It’s official, I’m tired of the commercialised and/or sanitised form of religiosity that has so successfully permeated itself throughout the Christian faith.

Was it for this that Jesus left his place at God’s right hand and sacrificed himself to a brutal death?

Was this the sort of discipleship that he sought in his followers?

Shouldn’t our walk be more than simply saying that we are a Christian?

Can the world actually tell us apart from everyone else?

I’m tired with the type of Christianity that makes no difference to the world around it. The type that leeches the wonder out of this wonderful faith that I so desperately want to follow ever more deeply.
